Seminar—London, 2017

To end the On & For Production (2014-2016) collaboration, we set up an interactive seminar to look at the role of the producer in artists’ film projects: how they develop, finance and support projects; how they work with artists and why artists may need them. The seminar is chaired by LUX Director Ben Cook in discussion with producers Jacqui Davies, Marie Logie of Auguste Orts and Kate Parker of City Projects.

This event marks the launch of the On & For Production publication, bringing together a series of commissioned texts by artists, curators and researchers for each On & For edition. The authors are María Palacios Cruz, Gil Leung, Colin Perry, Werker Magazine, Émilie Bujès and Antonio Gagliano.
