Work Sessions—Madrid, 2016
30 June 2016 - Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo, Madrid
The Work Sessions provide a platform for artists to share projects in development with a small group of invited professionals in order to receive conceptual and strategic feedback and to connect with prospective co-producers. The sessions are conceived as an adaptation from cinema industry models in response to the specific demands of the contemporary art context.
These sessions rehearse the possibilities arising from the public disclosure of projects in their early stages and thereby add to the debate on the power of seeing images together and that of making and producing them together. In fact, a film production is almost always the result of collective agency.
